Demining operations in Ukraine involve:

• Units of the Ministry of Defense, SES, and the National Guard;

Companies engaged in this field must obtain a compliance certificate and adhere to national standards.

The profession of a humanitarian deminer requires thorough training, which lasts five weeks. Specialists receive a "Unified Demolition Technician Book" and must pass special exams.

Key safety measures:

• Special protective suits, helmets, and visors;

• Modern metal detectors and probes;

• Use of unmanned systems for ERW detection.

Industry Development Prospects

To enhance demining efficiency, it is necessary to:

• Attract more investments in mine action;

• Simplify bureaucratic procedures;

• Develop new technological solutions for faster land clearance;

• Involve more specialists, including women, in demining operations.
